We’re looking for a General Director to join our team at one of our portfolio companies – Best Traders EOOD, a crypto exchange service provider, operator of a platform available at www.unramp.com. 

We offer a flexible full-time (one full time and second one min 50% of the time). This role allows B2B or salaried officer model and flexible remote work model. 🌍

Your responsibilities:

  • Familiarizing with the company’s overall strategy and key business objectives.
  • Representing the company in interactions with local institutions and relevant authorities.
  • Participating in meetings and discussions with local organizations when required.
  • Representing the company at selected industry events and conferences.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Ensured compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, and governance standards.
  • Reported directly to the executive team, providing regular updates on business performance and strategic initiatives.

Minimum qualifications:

  • A solid track record of integrity, professionalism, and good judgment.
  • Experience in managerial or highly specialized roles, ideally within technical or financial areas in Bulgaria.
  • Background in the cryptocurrency industry.
  • Education in banking, finance, economics, law, accounting, auditing, administration, financial regulations, IT, and quantitative methods at a Bulgarian university.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with regulators and stakeholders effectively, providing clear and professional communication on compliance and business matters.
  • A good understanding of corporate governance and responsible business practices.
  • The ability to contribute independent and well-balanced perspectives at the board level.
  • Awareness of regulatory expectations and commitment to ethical decision-making.
  • Financial reliability and a reputation for trustworthiness.
  • The capacity to act in the best interests of the company and its stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Bulgarian. 
  • Bulgarian residency.
